Biography

Hye Young worked in publishing for many years before she moved to the United States from South Korea. She studied comparative literature at the University of Wisconsin where she got her master's degree. She has also worked as a certified medical interpreter. In April of 2019, Hye Young completed the Washington State Bar Associations Rule 6 program. The WSBA Rule 6 program let her study to become a lawyer as she worked and learned hands on from experienced attorneys.

Hye Young has years of experience working with clients, listening to what they want to achieve, and developing goals of representation with them. She has successfully helped her clients achieve their goals by fighting for them in court, conferences and meetings. Hye Young believes caring and understanding about her client’s goals is key to a successful outcome for her clients.

Hye Young enjoys hiking, reading and taking her son to his numerous extra-curricular activities. She is also a great animal lover, especially her cats Fuzzball and Atheno.
